Changed theme on initial install of 5.6.0.2- now I can't login.

As title says. I was able to edit the page etc when I first installed concrete. When I came back to do more editing later I haven't been able to log in, it keeps telling me I'm using the wrong username and password. I can log into my account on the concrete website no problem. What am I missing?????

Not knowing how you set it up initially, but I would guess the log-in for the site is different than your C5 member login (yes, this is normal).
Have you tried clicking the "forgot password" option at the log-in page for a replacement?

Oh ya tried that a couple times. Like I said I can login on the website, but to edit the site it tells me bad username or password.

Are you talking about logging into your demo website or are you having trouble logging in to a real website that you installed separate from the concrete5 demo site?

The real website. I have it set up on my server so I can develop it then replace my existing website. I click on the bottom of the page to login to make changes - this is where I am having the issue.

Thanks.

First try to log in using your email address instead of your username.

If that doesn't work, try this to temporarily change your password to 'password':

1) Download the attached file and rename it to 'change_password.php'
2) Upload it to your root and land on it with your browser. (www.yoursite.com/change_password.php)
3) Log in using your normal username and a password of 'password' (no quotes)
4) Once you're in, head over to 'Dashboard->Search Users' and click on the user named 'admin'.
5) Click 'Edit User' and change your password back to something else.

6) IMPORTANT - Delete the 'change_password.php' file from your server so nobody else lands on it.

Thanks goes to James Shannon of the C5 community for this script.
