Class 'Concrete\Package\CcOptinFree\CcOptin' not found - replaces homepage and cant fix

so I get this error message for my homepage "Class 'Concrete\Package\CcOptinFree\CcOptin' not found" and I have tried to replace out that file location and everything to no avail. It just keeps giving me the same error. Is there a way I can remove that module without having to go through concrete5.

You need to re-upload the "Opt-In Free 5.7 - Pop-ups & Slide-ins" add-on to your website files on your server via FTP and that should fix this error. Have attached the zip file in case you don't have it anymore. So the path should be /packages/cc_optin_free/controller.php, make sure you don't have an extra cc_optin_free directory in there.

Once you replace that you might need to delete the files in /application/files/cache too.

Thanks for your advice I actually found another way
Deleted the package files from the ftp and then go into php database and find all instances of the addon for me it was a few table with the cc_optin title to drop and deleting out an entry in the "packages" table and that fully uninstalled the bad package.

I had tried re-uploading that file and it did not work for me. Probably missed something there.
