Concrete 5.6.0.2 and IIS6, Login does not work properly, Toolbar not showing up

hi!

i managed to get C5 5.6.0.2 running on IIS6 (which was way easier than 5.4) but when i try to login with the correct usrname/pwd i get redirected to
index.php/login/do_login/
which surprisingly shows the homepage again but there is no toolbar showing up and no user session is established (can be seen by typing
index.php/dashboard
into the address-bar by hand, i get to the login-page again).
shift+reloading does not help so it's not a caching issue.

when i try to log in at that point (manually accessed index.php/dashboard, redirected to login page) the login works, i get redirected to the dashboard, the toolbar appears and by pressing 'return to website' i am able to edit the pages, etc.

but how can i make the normal login working?
please help!

best regards,
georg

A quick google search of of concrete5.org reveals many forum posts and howtos for IIS. As far as I can tell, all IIS7+.

https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=site%3Aconcrete5.org+IIS...

The same for the C5 sitewide search for IIS, (which also uses Google).

aaah..sry for spamming, there is apparently a c5 bug with the AJAX thing so posting never finishes..

thank you, i already searched for that issue (otherwise i wouldn't have posted) and i set it up acording to one of the tutorials...

i post here because it doesn't appear to be a common problem and it might require some in-depth knowledge that i don't have..

best regards,
