Concrete 5.7.2 clean install repeatedly fails

Hi all,

I tried to do a clean install of Concrete 5.7.2 using installatron.
The installer runs up to 99%, then fails with the following error message:
Installing: Error: 2014-11-14T16:49:59+01:00 FAILURE [3; /usr/bin/curl] http://domain.com/index.php/install/run_routine/elemental_full/install_database [http code=503] @[ip adres]

There are tables created in the database, and they are created in the InnoDB format.

When I try to install it manually, without using Installatron, it fails again at 99% progress.
The following message is displayed:
Install concrete5
Version 5.7.2
Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have already contacted my hosting provider, but they haven't found a solution yet.
Does anyone know how I could solve this problem?
Thanks in advance! Ruben

sounds like you are running into some kind of resource issue (disk space?).

Are you able to perform an empty install?

Hi AndyJ,

I've tried this, but it just fails again with the same error message.

Hi I'm running into the same problem. As your post is from about 1 year ago: how did you solve this finally?

Just install/activate the latest Curl extension!

cURL is updated to version 7.45.0 , so the latest now, but still Installatron can't install Concrete 5.7.

I tested on another server with the same host, and there 5.7 did succesfully install.

Maybe it has to do something with the fact that a domain is still not linked with the site.

For the time being I use 5.6.3.4 which was installed by Installatron successfully.
