Concrete5 using local paths instead of host paths

I transferred my local installation to a online location. The database is working but I get errors where the error refers to my local machine path... any way to fix this? I remember there was a base_url option but I don't know how to do it with C5 version 8.

It may sort itself out if you clear the cache.

The URL the site preferess to render at is set as the Canonical URL - you can search for that in the dashboard.

Unless you have been messing with .htaccess, in most cases that is all you need to do.

The problem was the folder name, it had name1, removing the '1' from the folder name fixed it.

The problem is that I can't even access the login page to get to the dashboard to clear the cache. The problems is still here sadly. Changing the folder on the server after upload helps but that's gonna be a problem when uploading to the public_html folder once the website should go live.

you can empty the cache manually by emptying the folder applications\files\cache
