"Could not locate site.php" on GoDaddy Linux Hosting

I am unable to install C5 from GoDaddy Linux hosting with PHP5 and MySQL 5.

I get an error saying "Concrete could not locate site.php, within the config directory."

I made sure the permissions were correct and even tried chmod 777 all of the C5 files.

I checked my MySQL database and it was completely empty.

Did I get a bad release? How do I generate the "site.php" file?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to deploy C5 for the non-profit that I work for. We are in desperate need of a CMS that is easy enough for anyone within out organization to use.

Thanks so much for your help,

-Eric Chamberlain

Setting up C5 on Godaddy is a bit of a chore. It requires a couple tweaks to php.ini on Godaddy's side - and, as well, patching a couple C5 files. The patches will be included in our next release, but in the meantime, here are instructions for getting C5 to run on Godaddy shared hosting.
