I have moved my installation to a new server. The only difference being the C5 in now in a directory off the root of the domain
http://www.domain.com/newsite/
whereas before it was on the first level. Have imported the data into the new install and its come in fine but the CSS and the pictures are not showing. In the file manager the image names are there are there but the images and thumbs are not showing. The CSS is not being called in the layout either. Any ideas?

For the thumbs in File Manager try selecting the images then select Rescan from the little drop down box up top.
I'd agree with tallacman, try clearing your cache too!

Thanks very much for these suggestions. For some reason it was something to do with the install of the custom theme. The theme hadn't been properly activated so it wasn't pulling in the necessary links. However the CSS is all fine now as is the pretty urls but the images are still not linking into the file manager. I have tried rescanning as suggested by pvernaglia but still no joy. There are a lot of images so I don't want to have to re-import them all...any ideas??

Hadn't downloaded files from the remote server and then uploaded again to the new server. Easy to forget this one as the images are imported to the server from the dashboard not via ftp. Forgot there were a whole load of pics there...all working now thanks everyone
