I've never used FTP. I do have cpanel thru my hosting site. Uploaded concrete 5 file via the file manager on cpanel and extracted it in the public_html directory. Made sure it was all in write mode. Made a database (not sure why or what that does). When I try to go to my website url I don't get a gray installation box. Did I miss a step somewhere? Or do I need to just replace the existing index.php file on cpanel (from my hosting site) with the concrete5 index.php file?
In the transfer of our domain name and hosting site, we lost our old files so I'm in a hurry to get concrete5 uploaded and working. Thought the website redesign would be a chill process. Not so much.
