getting fatal error on upgrade from 5.3.1.1 to 5.3.2
Permalink
hi all,
getting an upgrade error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function setPropertiesFromArray() on a non-object in /nfs/c05/h01/mnt/69783/domains/thomasly.com/html/concrete/models/package.php on line 289
after attempting to upgrade from
5.3.1.1 to 5.3.2
any thoughts?
I've created new sites using 5.3.2 and fresh installs don't seem to produce this problem.

I "solved" this issue by uninstalling all non-core blocks and packages. I plan on reinstalling them and checking for updates after the upgrade process is completed.
Hi Mario - I appear to be having the same problem. My Traffic and stats package also does not work (blank page). I copy/pasted the erros into a Word document if you want to see the actual error but it appears similar to yours. I'm wondering how to "un-install all non-core blocks and packages"? Can I do that through the Bluehost CPanel - File Manager? ANy info would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Eric
Thank you,

hi eric,
Non-core block and packages just referring to blocks that don't come with a fresh C5 install. Just go to your backend Concrete 5 place where you install plugins. Choose to uninstall them from there. You can also ftp into your site and find the blocks and packages directory where you installed 3rd party plugins and delete them. However, that might not do a clean uninstall so it's better to uninstall from the backend if possible. Backup up your folders first, so you can reupload and reinstall them after the upgrade.
