How do you Update C5.5

In C5 in the dashbord it tells you what version on c5 you are running and you can do an auto update in System and maintainence.

How do you check and auto update in C5.5, I cannot see where to do it or how to do it ?

thanks

There have been problems with auto update recently so I would advice against using it, instead do this,
download the latest package from this website (currently 5.5.2.1),
unzip the package and ftp it into the root/updates/ folder,
then run this file from your browser,
http://www.yoursite.com/index.php/tools/required/upgrade

make sure you backup your database before updating just in case..

ensure you are running at least version 5.4.2.2 before updating, in your case you say you are running 5.5 so you should be okay..

I should add that the problems to which I referred were caused by incomplete uploads caused by server errors/timeouts.

Hi thanks, I did this but it says I have the latest version which is 5.5.1 and I am trying to install 5.5.2. This is when I try to run the upgrade script.

Also I have no upgrade button in the System/settings - backup and restore in the dashboard????

WTF???
