htmldiff.py is it necessary to make this writable?

Hi I am setting up a new site. On the installation rpocess the concrete/libraries/3rdparty/htmldiff.py has the warning mark still there. After chmod 755 applied it still has this error. Contacting the domain hosts (one I have not used before may I add) they have told me that php safe mode is disabled and also this is writable. My question is it necessary to have this working before install, or can I just crack on with the site without any future worries??

Thankyou

its only required for telling the difference between the versions of a page, overall its optional though
