installation error

hi, Am trying to install concrete5. and its taking alot of time to install and it doesnt finish. this is what am geting.
"Gateway Timeout
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

Additionally, a 504 Gateway Timeout error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Are you able to install using the command line? It works much more consistently https://documentation.concrete5.org/developers/appendix/cli-commands...

Since v8 I have only been able to install by the command line :-(

That's weird I never have any problem installing v8 locally or online, with or without content. Also no problems updating.

I used to suffer from failed installs on my local windows 10 machine running wamp, that is until I switched from using a hard drive to a solid state disc, since then no problems installing.
So I have put it down to the disc read/write speeds..

That's interesting, I never thought of that. I'm only using SSDs so it didn't occur to me that hard drive speed could be an issue.
