Installing 5.6.02 has screwed up my site

I tried to install 5.6.0.2 over 5.5.2.1 and it stopped midway through and screwd ip my site. Like a good biy I re-instated the backup I took just before I tried the upgrade.

NOW I have a site that says it is back to 5.4.2.1 ! But it has many of the menu items from 5.5.2.1 - most of which obviously don;t work, but all of which are being displayed in the older versions page layout and style!!

Of course it won't let me try any upgrades now and as the site is still working I do not want to begin again.

Question is - is there a manual way I can re-apply the 5.5.2.1 update back again to get to where I was before 5.6.0.2 screwed everything up? - ie a manula upgrade not done not pressing buttons in the admin page as these don't work any longer.

Is there anywhere I can just get the files I would need to perform the upgrade by hand along with a list showing in which folders the files need to go? I have looked and cannot fins anything obvious on the concrete5 site about this

Thanks

Colin

You can replace the core with the older one and then run the "upgrade" it'll say you have a newer version but there is an option "click here to run this script again" which will then downgrade your site possibly fixing it.

If you used the update manager check your config/site.php for changed in the path like it pointing to /public_html/updates/concrete5.6.0.2 and remove that line.

concrete/site.php has no mention of 5.6.0.2. I have tried re-uploading the earlier core, but no matter what happens now, I see items from the 5.5 version menu in the dashboard of what looks like 5.4.2.2 and few of them work. When I click on upgrade for example, it tries to go to

http://www.fostours.co.uk/index.php/dashboard/system/update/...

and then says page not found

System settings - same thing - it tries to go to:

http://www.fostours.co.uk/index.php/dashboard/system/update/...

and then page not found.

You need to check the site.php file in the config/folder...not concrete/site.php as that file doesn't exist.

OK, I have had a look. All the core files seem to be from version 5.5 but in the \config\ folder, site.php referes to version 5.4.2.2
