Installing to my hosting server

I just uploaded the latest stable C5 zip file and extracted to :

public_html/assets/concrete5

I'm not sure where to go from here. I did create a C5 datase along with a user for the database and they are now binded. What I am not clear on is the path to type in my browser to begin installing C5 or actually activating it so I can start seeing if C5 is for me. A gentle push in the right direction would be nice :).

Thanks!!

The folder public_html/ relates to your default domain/address. Thereby you'd probably find the concrete5 installation page at www.www.yourdomain.com/assets/concrete5/...

You're welcome.

In the installation screen, try to use localhost as server value instead of your domain.

That worked! Now I have (finally), the latest stable C5! Now I have to see if I will be using C5. At the moment I am using Yola.com to create my site. I'm looking for something free as in price and as in freedom just like Linux. I'm also trying out Modx as well

My website ishttp://www.mcran.com

I'm sure I can do the same in C5. We'll see what happens :)
