installing with existing website

I would like to try to create/move several existing html/css websites to C5.
Currently, they are all hosted at godaddy and are running.
I have looked at some staging boards, but I'm not sure how to keep these running and install C5 so it doesn't overwrite them. I would like to simultaneously run both until I have my C5 version up and edited how I want. What is the best way to do that?

Hello,

C5 can be installed in sub-folders so my suggestion is to do that then get a sub-domain such as testing.yourmaindomain.com and point it to the folder you have C5 in. Once you're ready, take all the files out of the sub folder in the main folder, change a quick setting in C5 setting file and you're good to go.
That's a summary of course.
