Jquery conflict after Upgrade to 5.4.2

Permalink 1 user found helpful
I was trying to upgrade this site on the local hosthttp://www.aakrutiprints.com to the latest build. The upgrade went fine, however I noticed the following issues

1. The slideshow does not show up

2. The Page won't go into edit mode

I get the following error in the firebug console

"f.easing[e.animatedProperties[this.prop]] is not a function" in \concrete\js\jquery.js

I already tried clearing and updating the cache.

My local webserver is on a win machine so no file permission issues there I guess

I've got the same issue. I haven't yet been able to figure out a solution to it. I does definitely seem to be something related to jquery. Have you found a resolution to this yet?

In case of my website, its the jquery easing used in the lavalamp menu template that;s causing it, I have messaged the author to update the plugin to match the latest jquery library used in the latest concrete5 build

You are using old versions. Simply upgrade them.

- Download the latest file jquery.easing.compatibility.js fromhttp://gsgd.co.uk/sandbox/jquery/easing/...

- Download the latest lavalamp.0.2.0 fromhttp://gsgd.co.uk/sandbox/jquery/easing/... Scroll down and find "Update" file.

Got the same issue when in dashboard sitemap, when trying to open context menu for pages.
