Login problems

Hi there!
All of the sudden I'm unable to login to my website, this is what's happening:
1. After entering the correct login details I get the message: A Username and Password are required.
2. The only way is for me to enter the forgot password field: after which I get a reset password email.
3. After clicking the link I can enter the new password after which I get the message: An unexpected error has occurred. Invalid key. Please visit the forgotten password page again to have a new key generated.

One way to fix that is to go into the database using phpmyadmin and copy the encrypted value of the known password to that of your account and save, then the password is set to the same value as the other account.
