I am trying to reset the password for this site.http://www.retireddivision.org/... The reset and email a temporary password is not sent to me. I suspect that the temporary password is sent to the past president of our organization who died several years ago. I have no access to her email. How do I reclaim access?

Hi!

Did see your on bluehost.

You can change the email address in the database.

https://my.bluehost.com/cgi-bin/cplogin...
Navigate to the Database Tools section, and select phpMyAdmin
Can't remember the table for user data, just search for it!

Bluehost asks for an ID and Password which do not have. I've tried various
combinations of the domain ID and password but to no avail. I'm not the
developer only the one who maintains the content.

Youll need to contact Bluehost and get into the cpanel. They'll want your cc# from the site hosting billing information.

You will need to login to cpanelhttp://www.retireddivision.org/cpanel...
Once you're in, find the Databases section, and click on phpmyadmin. This will open a new window. Click on your database, find the Users table, and browse it. Change the email address for the row where uID=1 to your new email address and save. Make a note of what the uName value for this record is - it may not be "admin" but you may need it to login successfully. Once changed, you should be able to do a password reset.
