Manual update to 8.5.1

Hi Trying to do a manual update to 8.5.1. Been following some tips I got from these forums and from the documentation. I have got to the point where it shows up in the apply update section of the dashboard but it has the following message (see also screenshot)

Unable to retrieve information about this update from concrete5.org. You may upgrade but do so with caution.

Is it safe to upgrade or not? And if I am to proceed with caution what does that mean? I did a data base backup do I need to do a full site back up too?

Thanks

You should preform a database export to your PC and create a full copy of your website files and folders and add those to your PC.
When those backups are in place you can try the update, the message you are getting is telling you that the connection to concrete5.org has failed and therefore the concrete5.org site cannot verify your update.
Is your site connected to the community?
To check for a connection to the community go to 'Extend Concrete5' and scroll to the bottom of the page.

Hi
Thanks for the help. I got the update to work. Brief panic when I got a 504 message about a gateway timeout but when i refreshed the browser a screen came up to say the upgrade was complete and I checked my link to the community and it still works

Again, thanks for the help
