Hi All,
Was in the process of transferring a site from a development environment this eve (which I've done before), and after getting it all loaded up and the database connected, I find that only half the pages are loading (header area), cutting off at the content, sidebar and footer areas. However the Getting Here page actually does load.
Also - when I log in, there is no Edit Bar. I can, however, get to the dashboard (index.php/dashboard).

Check the browser developer console for script errors, and the php error log for php errors. One or the other of these is likely happening and preventing the page from fully rendering (the edit bar is rendered last by Javascript, so falls foul of both types of error).
I found that the GB library isn't up to date and that the C5 sstem is calling 2 jquery scripts. I have no idea why. I'm going to try a fresh install. Bugger.
