Moving Concrete5 to another hosting problem

Hi guys, I have pretty much followed the instructions concrete5 provides (http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/installation/moving_a_site/) but I am having a problem.

When I try to open my site in the new directory it has an error message "unable to connect to the database".

I have no idea of what can be wrong.
Anyone can give me an hint? that would be great!

When you moved your site did you make a new database for your site with the new hosting company and import the database into it?

What may be happening is there may be a new database name and password that is different from the one you had with your old hosting company.

You can check the details for your database connections by looking in your site.php file and checking the details in that against your new database name and password.

HA HA I solved it! :)

I switched the 'localhost' to the server address.
