moving site to root

Hi

I am trying to move my installed site to the root of my url. seen the tutorial on here but cannot find the confg/site.php file that is referenced so stuck.

Any help appreciated

If it's in a subfolder, I've just always turned off pretty urls, cleared cache, and moved the folder contents up a level to the root. (assuming the root is empty or old site is in diff folder).

Then I log back in and usually everything works. Turn back on pretty url and it's good. I've not had to edit any config files yet.

But that's just me.

If you lost to time, then never 3rd time my suggestion is very clear if you have a backup file so why you are waiting for transfer your config file from here to another.
