New Install of 7.5.6, Won't change Themes

I did a fresh install, new database, sample content. I downloaded the Fruitful Theme, (also tried this with Stucco), hit activate - and nothing.
I've used Concrete 5 for several years... This I've never seen.
Suggestions?

I have a theme customer who is seeing similar. I've been trying to debug with him for the last couple of days.

He's installed both of these themes and my Stellar theme. When he tries to install the sample content it hangs for long time then gives

An unexpected error occurred.
Call to a member function applyToSite() on a non-object

The theme also doesn't show up in the Pages & Themes list. Are you seeing similar things?

When you say "and nothing" do you mean that the packages don't install at all or they look like they have installed but you can't enable the theme.

Theme customer is hosted on blue host if that's of use to know.

Mine was me being stupid, (well, expectations from previous experience).
The current free themes aren't packages but just themes with no preconfigured content and media. So when you apply them and the site wide areas are named differently, they just disappear.

Wish I could help you. My first guess would be a permissions issue.

All the themes in the marketplace are packages. If you chance upon an exception to this please post here or sent an email to c5.org so it can be remedied.
