newb doesnt know where to start

Hello!
I traditionally built all my sites using a plain text editor, so basically I am not even certain where to begin with c5. I can see that it is very powerful, but the install instructions and basics are not clear to me, even after going through the tuts on this site.
Does anyone have a url to a very good tutorial on the initial steps? Not on creating a theme, but about how to install it and get a website up and running with it.

That explains the initial setup process.
Really all you do is create a database in PHPmyadin and note down the database name, database passwords etc.
Then you unzip concrete and upload it the server (or better still unzip it on the server). Once that's done as soon as you try to load the directory you've placed your concrete files in it should display a welcome screen asking for all your database info. and the server address (localhost).
Have a good read through the link i've provided and if you get stuck on any part just yell.
