OK.. reconnecting my site to C5 community ?

I am completely starting over..

i have my site (using C5) hosted elsewhere and can access the C5 dashboard and begin to build, but, i am no longer connected to my C5 account.. my purchased add-ons and theme transactions show in my account but are not available in the dashboard . hope i don't have to buy them again?
How do I reconnect dashboard to my C5 account? my project?

You don't have to buy them again.

I am guessing you are now using Version 5.5.1 -

Hover over 'Dashboard' and at the bottom you'll find - "Extend concrete5 – Install, update or download more themes and add-ons."

Select 'add-ons' and you'll be met with the 'Connect to the community' page.

You can assign your add-on licence from the 'My Projects' page on concrete5.org.

1. Sign in to concrete5.org

2. Go to 'My Account'

3. Select 'Projects'

4. Select the 'Name' of your project (Not the url)

5. Scroll to the bottom of your particular project page and you'll find - "Add Item to this Project -
Add an add-on or theme to this project by selecting it from the list below, and clicking "Associate.""

6. After associating your licence, you can go back to your web site dashboard and you'll find your associated licences. Install as normal.

I got it connected to C5 account .. did so by going to adding add ons in the dashboard and then found out how to download and reinstall the ones in my account to the dashboard access. I now only have a problem in that 2 .. the 'facebook like' .. and 'picasa web albums' saying they are not compatible with C5 5.5.1 ? oddly they were working before with this version.. though I added them when still with 5.4
.. thanks for the P.M. tip on using my new iPad2 for working on with 5.5.1 .. I thought of that and was checking it out.. though not soon enough to avoid my whole loosing my database fiasco : )

Those add-ons may have not been updated to 5.5 yet. Go to the add-on page in the marketplace and you'll find a 'Support' link where you can ask the add-on developers for help and advice regarding upgrading to 5.5.

Best wishes,
