Premature end of script headers

Hi Everyone,
I just got a new Dell XPS 15 I7 laptop with windows 10, installed MAMP PRO and am now trying to install Concrete 5.7.5.9. It starts installing (progress bar running) but eventually stalls and throws an error while installing the block types : 'Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer:http://local.concrete5.com/index.php/install'....
One of the blocks seems to be causing this, I commented it out in the blocks xml and retried the install. It does pass the block installation this time but then it just throws the same error on a different installation task.
I have been going at this for hours now and an't figure it out. What I get from the internet is that it has something to do with paths.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm out.
