Recover Community Username

How can one recover a community username?

I've inherited a website and I can log into the c5 admin panel on it no problem. But I'm trying to log into the community to add some add-ons and I do not have the community username/pass to log in with. My first step would be to recover the community username, but there only seems to be a password recovery option.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Hi learingenglish,

A similar question was asked recently that you might get some benefit from.

Hiya -

Thanks for getting back on this. Actually, that link is not helpful. I have no problem recovering the admin login.

What I'm looking for is the community login username that connects this project/site to the community. There doesn't seem to be any way to recover it. Which is disconcerting as I really need to access the community login for this site.

There's nothing in the database config table except for encrypted tokens.

You'd think that this information would be displayed in the site admin panel - but oddly, it's not.

I got it sorted - but manually deleting rows from the Config database table is not the optimal way to handle this. Really, there should be an option in the site admin to disconnect from the community IMO.
