template not showing after activating

Hello all - I am brand new to Concrete5. I have bought and installed the Caylx template and my dashboard shows it is 'active' and installed but the home page link shows a mixed page of Elemental tempate and pages of pictures with not one trace of the Calyx download...any idea what has happened and how to untie the knot? - many thanks - Mike
Did you try to clear the cache?
Hello - not sure where the cache is...in my Concrete5 page you mean or in browser? If in Concrete5 where would I find that please - tks - Mike
Go to:
1. Dashboard
2. System & Settings
3. Under Optimization, click "Clear Cache"
4. On the newly opened page, click the "Clear Cache" button
You can also go to "Cache & Speed Settings" and set some values to "Off" for development - STRONGLY ADVISED. You don't want caching when you're still developing. Turn them all off for optimal development.

Hello - thanks for the advice which I have followed but still get the same result - I attach a couple of snapshots of the 'home' page and the dashboard 'pages and themes' screen
I think the issue is the Calyx template isn't supported on 5.7. If you were to install 5.6 it'll work properly.
Hi and tks again...but as you see from the attached snap it says it is OK with 5.7 AND I already had this problem with a previous template that turned out to be NOT compatible - have no idea where to go from here
You can contact the developer of the theme and see if they are able to help you.
