Unable to install - Cookies [not] Enabled error

Hi, I've installed C5 on many hosts before, but was unable to install today as Cookies Enabled was flagged as an error on the Installation screen.

I've read forum posts that suggest removing a blank space in a parent/installation directory/folder - but this does not apply. No spaces in there.

Tried 5.7.5.7 (latest build), 5.7.5.6 and even legacy 5.6.3.4, all with same response.

Any ideas? See images below for error and environment

Thanks,

PT

Hi nuurally,

The problem in my case was the host used a Amazon cloud server with CloudFront enabled. For me the answer was to install prefix nocache in the url instead of www.

http://nocache.domain.com/index.php/install...

This also means all edits are done on nocache, but visitors see the live site on www:

http://www.domain.com/index.php...

It actually works well, though at times the www cache is slow to update, so changes may not be seen live for a few hours.

Not sure if this is your set up, but all the best.
