Unable to install extended background block from marketplace.

I try to upload the file via FTP to Packages as stated. The upload terminates early with incomplete transfer (some folder structure, but basically zero k.) Tried to upload both the zip file and the unzipped files, same result. Error message seems to indicate a problem with file permissions. Per other forum notes on difficult block installs, I tried changing permissions to 777, but that had no effect. Tried clearing the catch, no effect. Using a MacOS based system. Anyone have a clue what I can try next? Thanks!

To connect your site go to your dashboard, and from the extend concrete5 area near the bottom of the dashboard select add-ons. You will be brought to the connect to community screen. Now you will have a project page for it in the projects area of your account that you can assign the license to. Now go back to extend concrete option in dashboard, and select install.
