update 5.6.0.2 did not go well, need help to fix issues

I have a sitehttp://www.gungrove.com that will not load anything right now including the dashboard. Here are my failed attempts to fix the problem:
I upgraded to 5.6.0.2 from 5.4.2.2 (everything was fine before update) after update only logo and background image would display, could get to Dashboard log in page but then it would send me back to the page that only had logo.
I tried to redo the upgrade but had the same results.
I then tried to import a backup of the database, took a very long time then got a error.
So then I tried a complete restore of the site from a backup via FTP. I am now getting a server error which I assume I might have went over my limits at my provider and am getting that resolved. Once that issue is resolved what do I need to do to get my site back up?
