Upgrade to 5.5

I have done a number if upgrades to 5.5.x but am having trouble with one today. It is currently running 5.4.2.2, but when I click "Download" on the Upgrade page, the resulting page (http://www.acvchurch.net/index.php/dashboard/system/update/download_update/) is blank.

Any help would be welcomed. First time I have had an issue upgrading a site.

Also noticed that when trying to upgrade, a file gets added to the root directory, in this case:

core.19582

It could be that this server doesn't have the capacity to cope with the upload process. Its particularly common on small shared hosting.

The way round it is a manual update
- load the zip to the server
- unzip it to the right place
- run the upgrade script

There is some info in the install or readme text with the upgrade zip.

There are plenty of forum threads with more detail if you need it.

PS. Don't forget to take backups first. When upgrading from 5.4 then its also best to swap to a default theme for the duration of the upgrade, then swap back after all the packages and any custom theme have been updated to 5.5.

Thanks. That's what's weird. It's on a VPS that I am using to host a number of other C5 sites, all of which have upgraded gracefully. I checked the WHM and there's plenty of disk space and bandwidth available for this domain. I'll try switching the theme to a default, and if that doesn't work may just end up doing it manually.
