Version 5.3 no images showing on web pages and file manager

Hi

I have installed a clean version of 5.3 on a linux box, but I can not see any images. Both in the file manager and on the main web site. Does anyone have any idea's whats going wrong?

Sorry just had a thought and the issue went away. There was a .htaccess file in the files folder, which seemed to prevent Concrete 5 from using it.
