Bilingual store

Hello, this is a newb question, my apologies...

I am very nervous about a new install of ecommerce... My site is in both French and English and I need my store to be bilingual as well...

What would be the best way to do that?

What will happen when I install the ecommerce add-on?

So far I used the internationalisation add-on to create my bilingual site and everything is perfect! I'm scared to screw things up when I install the ecommerce add-on...

I've created two trees under the 1st level : one I called "français" the other called "English". I excluded from navigation the home page. Using "internationalisation" I assigned the corresponding language package to the right tree in the site. Using language manager add-on I used language detection so that "hopefully" the right home page loads up when people visit my site.

I now have a perfectly, flawless bilingual site!!! Please feel free to take a look : ecothentik.com (still need to translate content, but the system is perfectly bilingual)

My idea was to install the store twice (or have the internationalisation add-on make a copy of it). Once under each trees. So basically I would have the French store under the "français" tree and the English store under the "English" tree. That means that the store wouldn't be on the 1st level...

Is this even possible? Is there a better way to achieve what I'm aiming to do? Do you understand what I'm trying to do with my store? Were my explanations clear enough?

Your help is not only appreciated, it's essential in order to get me started.

Thanks a lot
