Concrete5 multilingual page

Concrete5’s original solution for a multilingual web site is just too stupid, as there is a need for multiple pages ie. 1 page per language to be established in parallel representing the various languages in total. That’s all too stupid, isn’t it? I don't like it at all.

How to arrange a multilingual page ie. the home page as an example utilizing 1 page only (not that stupid many pages), with the various languages contents to be selected from a language selector?

The add-on named C5DK Multilingual Content represents what I need for my new international based web market site to be published in many languages the next weeks. But it doesn’t seem to be compatible with Concrete5’s latest version 8.4.4... that's bad.

Is it possible to create a Page Template for this purpose? The standard Page Templates contains the various Areas for the various Blocks to be inserted from Dashboard. Is it possible however to let a Page Template contain all the php required for all the HTML based text required for the final page?
