How to copy HOME tree to your new default language?

As it seems impossible to set a default language as the root tree on an already developed site so, how would I copy the default root to the newly created default language tree?
My site has always been in English, I have now created an English Lang section and as i said need to move the contents from the original home to this new tree.

Any help would really be appreciated.
