main language in root and not in subdirectory /en/

Dear Concrete5 community,

Im building a multilingual website with concrete5, and i'm using the internationalization add-on build by concrete5 itself:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/internationalization/...

This add-on does create for every language a sub directory like.http://www.my-domain.com/en/,http://www.my-domain.com/nl/,http://www.my-domain.com/fr/.

What i need is that my main language (Dutch in my case) will be in the root directory:www.www.my-domain.com/content-page...

I have searched in google and here in the forums but i couldn't find a solution yet.

Thank you.

Best regards,

With the latest version of the add-on you should be able to map a language to the root of the website

Hello mlocati,

Thanks for your reply. But the only thing what it does is rederect the root to the language folder. But I want to have the url of the main language always in the root. Not this:http://www.example.com/en/ but like this:http://www.example.com/

How can I do this?

I don't think that the package redirects to another page: from the package documentation you can read "Support for setting the root site to a language, with other languages set beneath it.".

Are you sure that your sitemap is setup correctly?
