Multilangual, pagetypes and default menu block

Sorry for posting this 3 times. Form lightbox does not disappear when hitting the submit button.

I've created a multilangual website. It uses NL and UK language.
I'v created a pagetype which has a mainmenu as default block.
Since I have to point to the sitemap-item from which the menu must be rendered I can only choose a parentitem from one single language.

This results in the default menu always being NL or UK.

Can concrete figure out which menu to render based on selected language?
or:
Should I create 2 pagetypes. One with default NL menu and one with default UK menu?

Anyone else with same issue?
Hopefully someone has a clear answer.

Thanks.
Peter

Hi Peter,

I know your pain. Your problem is that you shouldn't be selecting "Beneath a particular page".

You have a sitemap like the following:

EN
---Home
---Contact Us
NL
---Huis
---Contact met ons op

The subpages belong to a certain page type. In this page type default, you set the auto-nav to display pages "at the second level".

Please see the attached configuration and use it on your page type defaults auto-nav. Hope this helps!
