Is it possible to have a multiple domain site using either multiple domain or domain mapper and utilize internationalization?

I am running into some issues concerning trying to use them together. The internationalization plugin requires that the site structure be organized primarily by the languages while, it would be preferred that the site be structured primarily at the domain level, the desired result is separate sites, one installation, multiple languages for each.

Any Ideas???
