Site setup for Intarnationalization Add-on

I'm new to Concrete5. I started building my site, and wanted to add another language version of it. This video explained the add-on well:

But it kind of skipped over the initial setup. Looking at the sitemap for a multilingual site in the video: Are you supposed to map your domain to the English Homepage? Am I supposed to remove the topmost root Home from the autonav? Is the topmost Homepage simply a duplicate of the English homepage beneath it? Or will the add-on make the English homepage the default?
If someone could let me know what I'm supposed to do with that topmost root Home, that'd be great.
