Ik heb het op bvenstaande manier, en enkele andere manieren geprobeerd maar krijg telkens een berg foutmelddingen en onder staande mededeling:

houden helaas.

Kijk ff in de omgevings variabelen, daar staan ook de geinstalleerde talen bij (nl_nl).

De taal bestanden moeten in deze directorie (structuur) staan:
"<root>/languages/nl_NL/LC_MESSAGES/messages.mo

Cool, het werkt dus wel.
Enige wat nu niet meer werkt, is de text editor.
Als ik voor Nederlands kies, en een tekst wil aanpassen, dan zie ik geen tiny-mce maar alleen de HTMl code, switch ik weer naar Engels dan is de text-editor er weer.

btw. ik heb netjes alle files geplaatst zoals de stuctuur in jouw zip aanheeft, dus ook in de concrete dir. waarvan ik altijd dacht, afblijvennn.

Dat is een bug in C5, Texteditor in het Dashboard van (*)"Simpel" op b.v. "Geavanceerd" zetten (500 x 600 px). Dan werkt het wel!

Enja, als het kan laat ik de core ongemoeid, maar soms werkt het niet als gewijzigde bestanden in de <root> directories staan, zodoende.

mmm, blijft bij mij dezelfde error geven, cash geleegd. Zelfde resultaat.

Er is een cache in zowel Concrete5 (als die enabled is), als ook een browser cache. En vergeet ook niet de data in een sessie als je je aangemeld bent.

Dus afmelden op C5, browser en C5 cache legen. Alle browser sessies afsluiten. Dan nog eens proberen!

Tevens een bug is dat het "Dashboard" dropdown menu niet vertaald wordt.

Als je klikt op deze link dan krijg je wel een vertaalde zelfde versie in de backend. Maar ook hier is het Dashboard dropdown menu niet vertaald, net als in het frontend.

Nog ff het volgende. Voor de duidelijkheid.

C5 gebruikt het gecompileerde messages.mo bestand.
Het bron bestand is messages.po, deze kan je zelf bewerken met bijvoorbeeld POedit. Als je wijzigingen maakt in POedit en je slaat deze op, dan word er ook een gecompileerd .mo bestand aangemaakt.

Why are you using github for the translaton and not the official translation repo on mygengo.com?

Because i really want to have a solid 100% Translation.

Lets take a look, and i explain this for you.

We want to use this file for C5 v5.5.1, open POedit this file: 551.po

73% translated, 1591 strings, 415 not translated.

Lets parse in POedit all t( strings and look at this again.

50% translated, 2283 strings, 747 not translated, 375 needs attention(Fuzzy), 132 removed.

You see the source template is not uptodate.
When compiling to .mo gives errors because the settings for the right plurals are not set.

Do you understand now, why i get a Github for this?

It is not "i want to" but "i need to", rather i had seen that the C5 guys take the translation issues more seriously.

Mygengo is a joke, 100% better is to have a pootle setup for centralized translations for concrete5.

International use of C5, translations is proberly not very important? My pull request for C5 on github and many related to translation issues are ignored. I find the C5 bugtracker on concrete5.org not a very professional solution(no stats.).

The translations on mygenco are not covering all strings, there is no version controll regarding translation for c5 versions.

A rather see all bugs covered, before there is a new version.
I know V5.5 has a total core makeover, what realy works well but resolves in a new bughunt.

I agree with you. I have made a bugfixe and submitted a pull request, but it is just ignored.

No i will not do that! Github is not suited for translating.
I have made a more usefull and easy solution for translating C5.

How do i change the path of the source files? And update the translation keys when necessary?

LooL i just started translating on the official mygengo dutch language files.. Didnt knew thar was an almost 100% translation. Can anyone give me some more information? Where can i contribute translating and where to download the stuff?
