can't log in

i was editing my site, then i tried to publish edits and it wouldn't publish. after trying to publish several times i logged out and tried to log in and it says "A username and password are required."
i put in the right user name and password.

Try doing a Password Reset and try logging in with the new password. Also this issue should be posted in the appropriate section.
it won't send a password either. ya i noticed that i posted it as a job after i submitted it.
