Concrete5 upgrade fail - need help getting site back up

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Upgrade to 5.7.5.11 failed with:

Doctrine\Common\Proxy\AbstractProxyFactory::getProxyDefinition(): Failed opening required '/home/<website>/public_html/application/config/doctrine/proxies/__CG__ConcreteCoreFileStorageLocationStorageLocation.php' (include_path='/home/<website>/public_html/concrete/vendor:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php56/lib/php')

Admin area functions fine, but site does not. $50.00 USD for quick fix (via PayPal).

Thanks!

For a really quick fix, FTP to you site go to the application then config, open update.php and put in the last version you had.

To find this out (prob 5.7.5.10) looking in the update folder see which is the number below 5.7.5.11

All that was type on phone whilst walking my dog so if not 100% exact, it's off the top of my head.

Hi there. I'm currently engaged in a couple of meetings that will take me
about 1 more hour. Are you okay with the $50 payment for this fix?

Site is now back and working.

The client had used softaculous to update the site which had failed leaving the core on 5.7.5.6 but the installed version at 5.7.5.11

I uploaded 5.7.5.10 then ran the updater. All singing from the same hymn sheet now so we can upgrade in c5 again
