No Admin Bar on Specific page of new website.

Permalink
Hello,
I just created a website for a NPO I run called Music Above All. Recently I edited our "About" page and then published the changes. The results were very weird, the page looked very broken and the admin bar and footer disappeared. Luckily I was able to go into our Dashboard and revert the About page to a previous version before I made the edits, so the public page no longer looks like that. However, when I log in as admin, the edit bar and footer no longer appear on our "About" page and I can't for the life of me figure out why. This is a really big issue for me because now I can't edit that page of our website. The edit bar appears and works fine on every other page of the website, just I screwed the one page somehow. And before you say it, yes I've cleared cache, browser cache, and tried multiple browsers and computers.

Thanks for your help, I'm hoping this is just a quick fix but I really have no idea what I'm doing.

The website URL is musicaboveall.org

While I don't know what I'm talking about...

Have you lost getPageWrapperClass(); cf.
http://documentation.concrete5.org/developers/designing-for-concret...

Have you prevented some JS or CSS from loading, which is required by the c5 UI? This can happen if you've got files in the wrong place, wrong names, borked includes/requires, etc.

Could it be a z-index issue?

I'm just using the standard elemental theme so I don't think I am missing anything there, and if I were, why would it only screw up one page and not all the others?

And how do I check if I have stopped JS or CSS from loading, or if it's a z-index issue? Sorry for not understanding, I'm very clearly not a web developer and am not sure how to check for those things

Hi,

Go to the site map and left click on the problem page and select versions.
You can delete the problem version/versions and you will then be able to edit the working version of the page.

Hi, while this theoretically should work, I have already approved a previously working version of the page and the edit/admin bar is still not there even when it was before. In my sitemap, it does not let me edit a different version from there, I only see the option to approve a previous version, am I missing something?

You can only edit the latest version of the page.
By deleting the the versions created after the approved version you will be able to edit the approved version of the page.
I am assuming that one of your unapproved edits is causing the issue.
