What about combining them into one PDF and posting the link to that document where you now have "Print My Page".

Unless you want to render all the pages of your manual onto a single web page, you are going to have to combine them into a single document and PDF's are pretty universal.

That's an interesting setup you have there. Those aren't actually separate pages, but a block that, through ajax, only loads a "section" at a time. You really should contact the block developer.

Unless you create some sort of "hack" (ie, manually building a PDF), at the end of that day someone is going to have to modify the block's code.. it'd be better for the original dev to do that.

I believe it's this add-on:

As a user, I like the ability to page through the manual online but I would like a link at the top where I could download the whole thing.

Perhaps this:

jshannon - do you know of a way to manually input page breaks into a block such that when it converts to pdf, the page breaks happen where you want them to?

I am having trouble with pdfs converting to unmanageable pages because of the way the content blocks are broken up.

Thanks so much for your advice! I can send a sample if need be.

Also, do you know if there is a way to print the PDF with different styling than what is on the site page? For example, I have white text on the site because the background is solid, but for printing purposes, the background converts to white and the text is then lost. (Sample Attached)

I can see 2 ways , first spend money and be convinced that something is needed, second put all your content on a nicely branded PDF and upload to you site , use the file block to make it available to download, this is much cleaner and way less prone to errors.

Extending my comment you can even convert the PDF into a magazine like and using HTML block add to you page so that if user chooses to read online as opposed to download . In that case issuu.com should be enought .
