Website won't let me login to back-end

Hello!
I'm in need of some help here. The website for the company I'm working for started giving me this error code:
syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) or ${ (T_DOLLAR_OPEN_CURLY_BRACES) or {$ (T_CURLY_OPEN)
It appeared at around 11:30 am last Sunday. I don't alter code in the website, just basic blocks and content. There has been editing on the website over the past 3 days before this happened. I called our web host and they said that it could be a problem with a plug-in that has up dated. If someone can count me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated
