C5 Legacy and Bootstrap

I see that bootstrap is in the js directory of the legacy version.
However, it doesn't seem to be working for my navbar.
I have a few dropdowns that are not triggered.
How can I get bootstrap javascript and c5 legacy to play nicely together?
(I would contact Remo but have no idea how to contact him.)
