Site just died

Hi,

My site has been up and running for like 7 years now. And suddenly I get
"Fatal error: Call to a member function query() on boolean in /home/phidias/public_html/updates/concrete5.6.3.5_remote_updater/concrete/core/models/package.php on line 66"

And after some googling it indicates a problem with a database connection. But since I haven't changed anything in weeks I thought this could be something on the host, maybe they have updated something?
After 1,5 hour chat with Siteground it turns out that nothing have changed since January when they updated the A-record. I tried switching PHP version to 7 and back to 5.6.40 but it didn't help.
I have tried restoring the files and DB with versions from a week ago, but without any help.
When I look at php_errorlog I can see a lot of errors after June 5.
All the DB settings look fine with : define('DB_SERVER', 'localhost');

But I have no clue whats going on?

Any idea how I can get it back up?

5.6.3.5 will not run on php 7, it is likely something was messed up whilst trying to get it going on php 7 before you switched back to php 5.6.4.
If you want someone to fix this for you, send me a private message.
