Are you having this issue for every package or just specific ones?

For all packages.

Sometimes I wrote some text in the textbox, saved - nothing got saved. Sometimes after not saving, it appeared after a few days. So there's something odd going on with that textbox.

Has anyone else got this problem? I still can't save anything in the version history box.

The problem appears to happen next time you edit a package's marketplace info. The history panel is loaded with a history that is a few days old rather than the actual current history.

So if you then edit/save the MP info without double checking the history is not out-of-date, you end up accidentally saving an out-of-date history over a good history.

The work round:
a) Go to history page and copy/paste it into a spare text editor on your dev system
b) Edit the marketplace page
c) Make changes to marketplace info
d) Scroll down to history. If it is wrong, copy/paste the correct history from your dev system text editor.
e) Save.

Nevertheless, Portland Labs do need to fix this.
