Active link color and google webfont

Hey... im having trouble getting active link to be another color.
Seems like it resets everytime the page loads, and therefor doesnt work.
im on concrete5.5 btw.
Ive tried some of the suggested from the forum, but doesnt work.
Can anyone help?
Also im having trouble implementing google webfonts on my page. Ive tried :http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/developers/controlling-the-use-of-google-web-fonts-through-page-attributes/
but it doesnt seem to be working properly

I use Google fonts as well and I have it working fine.
